SIF Roermond – Building the Foundations of Offshore Wind. SIF Roermond, based in Roermond, Netherlands, specializes in producing steel foundations for the offshore wind industry, with structures weighing up to 2,000 tons. The company has played a key role in advancing wind energy projects worldwide. We manufacture monopiles and transition pieces, essential components for offshore wind turbines. As a Grinder, you are responsible for processing and finishing metal parts. Your tasks include: Grinding and polishing weld seams and surfaces Inspecting the quality of processed parts Maintaining tools and equipment You will work with an Angel grinder You will be grinding weld seams Working with grinding machines and overhead cranes Carrying out additional tasks around the workplace Adhering to safety regulations Passing a game assessment before starting
2-4 years of experience in the technical sector
Proficiency in grinding and polishing techniques
Attention to detail and quality control
Ability to maintain tools and equipment
Knowledge of safety regulations and procedures
Strong teamwork and communication skills
Willing to obtain a VCA certificate in the Netherlands (mandatory for working at SIF)
Languages: Dutch, German, and/or English
