Job Description:
At PMC Staalbouw in Deurne, high-quality steel structures are welded for a wide range of applications, such as:
Industrial halls and utility buildings, agricultural buildings such as barns and sheds, and custom-made structures according to client requests.
Based on technical drawings, the components are assembled, checked, and fully welded using MAG 135.
The candidate must be an experienced fabricator/assembler in order to correctly fit the various profiles and also weld them independently.
The welding of the profiles is carried out as much as possible in the flat position. The beams can be rotated with a crane to achieve the most optimal welding position. All welds are visually inspected and must be clean, neat, and of high quality.
A welder who has been employed for two weeks and performs well will, in consultation with PMC, be required to obtain their MAG certification.
Maintaining a good work pace is very important at PMC Staalbouw – however, there is sufficient time for proper onboarding and training.
Responsibilities:
• Assemble and weld steel structures based on technical drawings
• Use MAG 135 welding (mainly flat position)
• Perform fitting and fabrication of beams and profiles
• Adjust and set up welding machine
• Participate in training and certification if needed
