Baker's Assistant – Organic Bakery

Job Description:

You will be working at an organic artisanal bakery. The company produces bread and bakery products using traditional methods, with a focus on quality and sustainability. The organization supplies customers who value artisanal and organic production.

It is a close-knit work environment where colleagues know each other well and collaboration is key. New employees are given the opportunity to learn the trade and grow within the company.

As a Small Bread Employee, you support the baker in the small bread department during daily production. You will learn the basics of the baking profession and gradually take on more responsibility. The workday starts early — at 05:30 — and runs until 14:00.

Tasks:

• Supporting the baker in the production of small bread
• Preparing raw materials and ingredients
• Performing simple baking tasks under supervision
• Contributing to a clean and hygienic work environment
• Learning and applying basic skills in the baking profession

Work Time:

• 38 hours per week
• Monday to Friday, 05:30-14:00
• Full Time

Salary:

• Starting at €17.00 gross/hour
• Growth potential
• 8% holiday allowance (paid weekly)
• Travel allowance of €0.23 per km

Experience:

• Work experience in the food industry, preferably as a baker or in an industrial bakery
• Other relevant food experience is also welcome
• Willing to start early (05:30)
• Practical mindset and willing to continue learning in the field
• Physically resilient
• Good command of the Dutch and/or English language
