You will be working for an innovative machine builder in Rijen, specialized in designing, building, and delivering automated machines worldwide. Think of bag cutting machines, IBC handling installations, and internal transport systems for customers in various industries.

As a Machine Building Mechanic, you work with colleagues to assemble machines in a timely and meticulous manner. Your tasks are both mechanical and electrotechnical in nature — depending on your strengths, there is room for internal training or courses to further develop your skills.
You work in a self-managing team where your own initiative and decisiveness are valued. You don't need to seek permission for everything — you take charge, collaborate with a colleague, and get it done. Occasionally, you visit customers on-site.
Tasks:
- Mechanical assembly of customer-specific machines such as bag cutting machines, IBC handling systems, and internal transport systems based on technical drawings and parts lists
- Assembly of components such as frames, drives, guides, pneumatic systems, and conveyor belts
- Performing electrotechnical work such as cabling, connecting sensors/actuators, and working according to electrical diagrams
- Checking dimensions and functionality during and after assembly
- In the future, possibly occasionally installing and commissioning machines at customers worldwide
Work Time:
- Minimum 40 hours per week
- Full Time
Salary:
- €17.62 gross/hour
- ATV allowance of 5%
- 8% holiday allowance (paid weekly)
- Travel expenses reimbursement of €0.23 per km
Experience:
- Proven experience with mechanical assembly, preferably of machines, installations, or complex equipment (mechanical engineering, automotive, shipbuilding, agriculture, etc.)
- Proficient in reading and working according to technical drawings and parts lists
- Familiar with common hand tools and measuring instruments for mechanical assembly
- Electrotechnical knowledge is a strong advantage - think of cabling switchboards, connecting sensors/actuators, or working according to electrical diagrams
- Eager to learn and willing to develop yourself further
- Good command of the Dutch and/or English language
