Order Picker - Barendrecht

Job Description:

You will be working for Meeder Group, based in Barendrecht, a leading company in the logistics and distribution of fresh produce within the AGF (fruit and vegetable) sector. The company plays an important role in the European supply chain, focusing on quality and efficiency.

In addition to retail and wholesale clients, the company also prepares fresh produce orders for ships operating in the Netherlands and for vessels departing on international cruises, while maintaining a dynamic and professional work environment.

As an Order Picker, you are responsible for accurate order picking and preparing orders while maintaining high-quality standards. You will check products for freshness, damage, and compliance with order specifications before shipment.

You will work efficiently in a cold environment with a warehouse temperature of around 5°C, following all safety guidelines. You are also responsible for maintaining a clean and organized workspace while optimizing work speed for timely order fulfillment.

Work Time:

• First shift: 06:00/07:00 - 14:00/15:00
• Second shift: 09:00/10:00 - 19:00/20:00
• Night shift (only during high season from April)

Salary:

• €14.71 gross/hour

Shift allowances:

• Mon-Fri 19:00-23:00: 125%
• Mon-Fri 23:00-06:00: 140%
• Saturday 15:00-23:00: 125%
• Saturday 23:00-24:00: 200%
• Saturday 00:00-06:00: 140%

Experience:

• Flexibility to work in a 2-shift system (morning/evening and night shift during high season)
• Good command of Polish and English
• Attention to work quality, processes, and team motivation
• Ability to work in a cold environment (around 5 degrees Celsius)
• Experience in the AGF, production, or logistics sector
• English level A2 or higher
• Driving license required depending on operational needs
• Flexible mentality necessary
