Job Description:
You will be working at a specialized technical laboratory in the Arnhem region that plays a key role in the energy transition. In this lab, electrical components are tested and certified before they find their way into energy grids worldwide.
The organization works with advanced testing equipment and is active for clients from all over the world. Innovation is central: continuous investment is made in new technologies and testing methods to meet the ever-stricter requirements of the electricity industry.
It is an environment where technical craftsmanship is valued and where your work directly contributes to safe and reliable energy supply — now and in the future.
As a Test Specialist, you support and perform high-power electrical tests that verify the safety and performance of electrical components. You work with advanced test installations where short-circuit tests and other high-power measurements are conducted.
Together with test engineers and other specialists, you ensure that tests are correctly prepared, measurement systems function properly, and installations operate safely. The role combines technical testing, installation preparation, and measurement activities. Additionally, you contribute to the improvement of equipment and test procedures through small technical projects — and act as a technical contact during tests, including towards customers when necessary.
Once every five weeks, you work a night shift, for which you receive an average allowance of 12% to 14% on all hours.
